And The Rash Goes On

I'm into the third week of the poison ivy saga...things are looking much better. Not good enough to wear shorts in public, but a big improvement.

However, the itching from the yellowjacket sting is unbearable and the hot zone is about 2" x 3" now. I can understand how animals chew off their own limbs. I am tempted to chew, claw or otherwise mangle my arm at any given moment.

The only relief comes from ice packs and so I think I have found the highest and best use for my Crate & Barrel ice snake. I cut it into thirds, wrap it in a linen dish towel then wrap it all around my arm...sweet relief!

Tomorrow has to be better! Grrrrr
