How Our Neighborhood Voted
This discussion was recently overheard between a Mom and her two boys, "Sam" age 6 and "Rob" age 4, as she asked them how they voted for president in their school elections:
Mom: Who did you vote for Sam?
Sam: I voted for McCain
Mom: Why did you vote for McCain?
Sam: Cause I don't like the other guy's name
Mom: You don't like Obama's name?
Sam: No
Mom: What's wrong with Obama's name?
Sam: MOM! IT HAS THE WORK "BOMB" IN IT!
Mom: Who did you vote for Rob?
Rob: I voted for Balack (not a typo) Obama
Mom: Why did you vote for Obama?
Rob: Cause I didn't want to vote for Sam's guy.

It is quite probable that many grown ups voted following similar criteria!
Clever boys!
LOL oh dear kids are hilarious!!!!
Good to know our future is in such good hands! :)
That's so funny. I had a conversation with my 86 year old mother-in-law and I wont say who she voted for, but the reasons were just as crazy. Made me wish we had talked to her ahead of time...who knew???
Cute conversation! It's so funny how as kids we base our decisions on crazy reasoning...probably doesn't change much as we get older either!
